Wild Washington – Wedding Venues in Washington

I went to the Olympic Peninsula, Olympic National Park to look at wedding venues in Washington. I am so excited to share the lush green photos that I took. I have been long inspired by the Pacific North West and have been dying to shoot a wedding in Washington. This time I really only looked at Olympic National Park but I went more recently to check out the North Cascades as a wedding venue in Washington.

The coolest thing about getting married in Olympic National Park is that you don’t have to choose from a list of permitted locations like some of the other National Parks. You can go look around and submit a permit request for the place that you like best. The permit process here is pretty easy. Just stay to areas that aren’t ecologically sensitive and that are open to the public and you should have no trouble getting you wedding permit at Olympic National Park.

Location Considerations

Weather is unpredictable on the coastline. Places might experience rain or weather different that you might anticipate. I say, it’s all good. I love in climate weather, it ads mystery and magic to any wedding photography. I like to let the day be whatever it wants to be and know that there are things outside of my control.

Locations for Weddings in Olympic National Park

Rialto Beach

Did you say beach wedding?!! I’m there! But really, I am. Rialto Beach is an amazing location to choose for a wedding. It might not be your typical sunny beach day but a stunning location for some moody wedding photography. The forested area back right up to the beach, giving you two totally different looks to work with 🙂 Some cool features are the hole in the wall arch, exploring tide pools and the forest. And if you were thinking of a camping or glamping wedding, you can get a permit to set up your tent right there on the beach!

Hurricane Ridge

If hiking isn’t your thing but you still want amazing views for your Weddings in Olympic National Park, go to Hurricane Ridge. When is clear, you can see for miles, matchless mountain views. You can explore meadows. For this location, it might be best to choose a secondary spot for extra photos. Sometimes the wind up here will knock you off your feet! There is always the chance that the view may disappear and reappear with changes to fog and clouds. In some sad instances, you might not see a mountain at all. Don’t let this change your ideas, because when the weather is on your side it’s a magical place.

Ruby Beach

AMMMAZZZING coastline Olympic National Park wedding location! Big gnarly amazing drift wood all over the beach leaves a lot to feel like a wild location for an elopement. Adventure elopements are made for places like this. Here you are also equidistant between two prominent rainforests, the Quinault and Hoh rainforests are only 35 minutes away!

Conclusion

In conclusion, any adventure seeker would be lucky to plan an adventure wedding in Washington, especially an elopement at Olympic National Park <3
