I really love how each photography session is different from the next, even if they all take place at the same Grand Canyon viewpoint. The sky is always changing, ever different. In this family’s portrait, there must be some dust or wild fire smoke in the canyon, its a little hazy. The haze only adds a little bit more depth and the particulates take on a color cast and make for a soft dreamy background. I can’t guarantee what sky you’ll get when you get here but it will be a unique experience no matter what. I love every sunset photo shoot I get to do at Grand Canyon, taking these family portraits were no different.
