Wedding at Grand Canyon
I have a day off today and though I have about a million house chores to do, I am so backed up in sharing all of this beautiful photography with you. This winter I shot several amazing elopements and weddings at Grand Canyon. This one was no different, except that we had some gorgeous snow and winter light here at the South Rim. I love how the wedding dress itself can be a harsh contrast with this epic landscape, soft and light against the rugged landscape. There is something about an epic gown seemingly out of place in the natural environment that makes for really moving images. I think it’s amazing that some people would rather share their love and commitment to each other with a small Grand Canyon Wedding then to have a wedding with many moving parts and many people, simple is beautiful.
